When we arrived we where made very welcome. We asked about somewhere to eat. at the time the hosts had just finished a barbecue and asked us if we would like to have some food - there was plenty left. We gratefully accepted and enjoyed lovely barbecued food with a lot of variety and quantity. We where very surprised at the low cost of the drinks we also had. But most of all the people were very welcoming with a high level of naturel hospitality, nothing false or insincere. A lovely stay with excellent walks immediately near to the hotel that my partner and I and our pet Milo enjoyed. Milo was fascinated by the number of rabbits he could say hello too.

Hall Park Hotel is a lovely old building within walking distance of the centre of Workington. It is located across from a nice, spacious park. The outside areas of the building are full of wonderful flowers that were in full bloom when we arrived. We needed somewhere secure to store our bikes overnight and the owners were very accommodating. The rooms were modern, clean, very quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent in terms of both variety and quality. Workington was a very pleasant surprise, certainly not what I expected.

I was suprised how lovely this hotel was. The room was big, lovely decorated and clean. The bed was so comfy. With it been self check in didn't see staff only for breakfast and they where both lovely. Breakfast was beautiful. The mushroom bendict eggs where to die for. View from our room was lovely looking over hall park. Outside the hotel was lovely as well. So glad we stayed here. In prime location to everything. Would defiantly recommend for people to stay here great value for money. Thank you for having us

Made to feel very welcome, staff all very friendly. They also made a fuss of my dog and cooked him sausages for his breakfast. I did not ask for that, they just brought a plate when they brought mine! Nothing particularly fancy about the Hall Park, just very comfortable, warm, clean and friendly. Food is excellent. Without doubt I would stay again and I certainly recommend it without hesitation. Loved my stay!

Excellent, lovely place. Clean, tidy very friendly staff. The room was comfortable for the 2 of us and the dog. We chose to eat at the hotel, the food was delicious all home made and breakfast was just as good. We really enjoyed our stay and have planned to return. Also there is a lovely park directly opposite where the dog can run freely and a small woodland walk.
